飞出国：由于新冠疫情导致的旅行限制等影响，有些澳洲签证的持有者也受到了不小的影响，因此，澳洲移民局有对这些签证持有者有出台一些特许优惠政策，从最大限度上消除疫情对这些签证持有者的影响。
COVID-19疫情签证特许期从2020年2月1日开始，暂时没有设定结束日期，可以适用于以下签证类别：
- 887签证类别
- 888投资签证
- 188投资签证
- 790避风港签证
- 485毕业生工签
对于以下类别的伴侣和子女类签证，之前是要求在签证获批时必须是在境外，受疫情影响，如果以下签证类别的在COVID-19签证特许期内，是在澳洲境内的，且符合所申请签证的其他要求，可以允许在澳洲境内获批签证。
- 子女（101 子类）签证
- 收养子女（102 子类）签证
- 预期婚姻（300 子类）签证
- 伴侣（309 子类）签证
对于以下父母类签证，如果是在2021年3月24日之前提交的申请且2021年3月24日申请人是在澳洲境内的，且符合所申请签证的其他要求，可以允许在澳洲境内获批签证。
- 父母（103 子类）签证
- 有贡献类父母（173 子类）签证
- 有贡献类父母（143 子类）签证
同样的，对于以下父母类签证，如果是在2021年3月24日之前提交的申请且2021年3月24日申请人是在澳洲境外的，且符合所申请签证的其他要求，可以允许在澳洲境外获批签证。
- 年老父母（804 子类）签证
- 有贡献类年老父母（864 子类）签证
而对于持有870父母临时签证的，申请人在2021年7月1日已持有该签证且在澳洲境外的，则签证可以自动延长18个月。该签证特许旨在协助由于 COVID-19 旅行限制而无法在其签证有效期内在澳居留满 3 年或 5年的870签证持有者。且延长的这18个月不会被计算在870签证的最长10年有效期内。
If you held a Sponsored Parent (Temporary) visa (subclass 870) (SPTV) and were outside Australia on 1 July 2021, your visa period has been automatically extended by 18 months.
This concession aims to assist SPTV holders who could not spend the full 3 or 5 years on their visa in Australia due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.
If your visa was extended under this concession, the additional 18 months will not count toward your cumulative 10 year maximum stay period.
Sponsorship obligations for SPTV Sponsors have also been extended for the same 18 month period.
移民局2022年2月18日明确宣布给受到疫情影响489,491和494偏远地区签证持有者延长三年有效期，移民局已通知符合延期要求的签证持有者，申请人也可以通过VEVO系统查询自己的延期信息。
On 18 February 2022 we extended Skilled (Regional) Provisional visas for three years for visa holders affected by COVID-19 international travel restrictions.
We extended visas for Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa holders where the primary visa holder was outside of Australia at any time between 1 February 2020 and 14 December 2021 (inclusive) as the holder of a valid Skilled Regional (Provisional) visa.
The visa extensions will give affected visa holders time to make travel arrangements to start or resume living and working in regional Australia.
Eligible visa holders have been notified of the visa extensions. Visa holders can also view details of their extension in VEVO.
如果是489签证持有者且签证也于2022年2月18日延期，则需要注意在递交887签证申请之后，这个延期是如何影响遵守8539和8549签证条款的（这两个条款是关于居住在偏远地区的条款，一般在申请人的准签信上有体现）。

If you are a subclass 489 visa holder whose visa was extended on 18 February 2022, see how the extension affects your need to comply with visa conditions 8539 and 8549 after lodging a Skilled Regional (subclass 887) visa application:
- If you have lodged or lodge a subclass 887 visa application before the original expiry date of your subclass 489 visa, you must comply with conditions 8539 or 8549 up until the original expiry date of your subclass 489 visa, unless your subclass 887 visa is granted before then.
- If you have lodged or lodge a subclass 887 visa application after the original expiry date of your subclass 489 visa, you must comply with conditions 8539 or 8549 up until the extended expiry date of your subclass 489 visa, unless your subclass 887 visa is granted before then.
而对于887签证申请人，移民局在2020年9月19日就已经宣布了特许政策。
- 之前887是属于澳洲境内递交的签证，申请人在递交和获签的时候都需要在澳洲境外，受疫情影响，COVID-19疫情签证特许期间，887签证申请可以境外递交，也可以境外获批。
- COVID-19疫情签证特许期间在境外递交了887签证的申请人，也可以降低工作和居住要求，只需要提供至少9个月全职工作经验以及18个月偏远地区居住证明即可（正常是12个月全职工作以及24个月居住）
- COVID-19疫情签证特许期间在境内递交了887签证的申请人，可以降低工作要求，只需要提供至少9个月全职工作经验以及24个月偏远地区居住证明即可
From 19 September 2020, COVID concessions to lodgement and eligibility requirements will be available to eligible prospective Skilled – Regional visa (subclass 887) applicants where they meet criteria set out below.
Applicants outside of Australia
Eligible prospective subclass 887 visa applicants can make their visa application outside Australia during the concession period and be granted the visa while they are outside Australia. Applicants outside of Australia who lodge during the concession period are given access to shorter employment requirements and shorter residence requirements.
These applicants must provide evidence of at least:
- 9 months full-time work in a specified regional area (or, if the Minister specifies a shorter period in a legislative instrument, that shorter period), and
- 18 months residence in a specified regional area (or, if the Minister specifies a shorter period in a legislative instrument, that shorter period).
Applicants inside Australia
Eligible prospective subclass 887 applicants inside Australia who lodge during the concession period are given access to shorter employment requirements.
These applicants must provide evidence of at least:
- 9 months full-time work in a specified regional area, and
- 2 years of residence in a specified regional area.
