一. 教育（Education）-飞出国
小学（primary School）之前，儿童可接受学前或者幼儿园教育（pre-school or kindergarten）。每年的1月1日满5岁的儿童，必须开始接受义务教育（School or approved home education）。

17周岁以下的少年至少要完成12年级的学习，获得三级职业资格证书（Certificate III vocational qualification）。
无论公立还是私立学校，学生需要在11/12年级获得塔斯马尼亚教育证书Tasmanian Certificate of Education (TCE) ，以此获得高等教育入学学分。
境内的塔斯马尼亚大学（University of Tasmania）是世界排名前2%的大学之一； 并且塔州也开设了一系列的职业教育培训课程Vocational Education Training (VET) ，详见TasTAFE website
二. 留学生移民政策-飞出国
在塔州高等学校学习至少一学年（40 weeks at a CRICOS registered institution）之后，即可申请州担保签证。国际留学生可以在学习的同时接触有价值的工作机会，提升自身专业能力，有助于毕业后顺利找到工作。鼓励留学生毕业后在塔州当地创业。通过州担保拿到签证的毕业生，同样要承诺在塔州至少待上两年。

选择 Tasmanian Skilled Occupations List (TSOL)和移民局 list of eligible skilled occupations清单上的提名职业；

申请189独立技术移民，提名职业要属于MLTSSL列表；

没有职业配额限制；

获得州政府担保的额外分数（190加5分、489加10分）；

澳洲偏远地区的两年学习可以额外加至少5分。
International students who graduate in Tasmania are given key advantages:
- applicants may select an occupation from the Tasmanian Skilled Occupations List (TSOL) and the occupations listed on the relevant list of eligible skilled occupations
- applicants for the Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) must use the shorter Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL).
- there are no quotas on occupations
- applicants receive priority processing at the Department of State Growth and at the Department of Home Affairs, speeding up the time it takes to be issued a visa
- Tasmanian Government nomination provides extra points in the Department of Home Affairs points test. To check your points click on the interactive points calculator (nomination provides 5 points for the 190 and 10 points for the 489)
- applicants who have studied in ‘regional’ Australia for two years receive extra points (the Department of Home Affairs categorises all of Tasmanian as regional).

满足最低语言要求（Competent English）并提供有效的语言（https://bbs.fcgvisa.com/t/which-english-language-tests-are-accepted-by-dibp/13271）成绩单;或者，提供英国/爱尔兰/美国/加拿大/新西兰的有效护照（hold a passport of the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada or New Zealand）。
To apply, you must fulfil the the Department of Home Affairs requirement:
- score at least 65 points for the Department of Home Affairs points test (including 10 points allocated for 489 State nomination) click on the interactive points calculator to check points score
- have a valid and positive skills assessment for your nominated occupation which is on the combined list of eligible skilled occupations.
- have at least ‘competent English’ and provide evidence of this with a recognised English language test or hold a passport of the UK, Ireland, the USA, Canada or New Zealand.
