飞出国将2019年10月版本的EA官方指南与2018年3月的EA官方指南做了对比，总结出以下变化以及之前大家容易忽略的细节，请EA申请人引起注意：
1. EA 2019.10版指南明确提出做工程经理这个职业的申请人必须做相关工作年限认证。
It is mandatory for Engineering Manager applicants to apply for Relevant Skilled Employment Assessment.
2. 针对以英语为母语的申请人可豁免提供英语语言测试结果，不过EA 2019.10版指南明确规定这类申请人需要提供能证明已成功完成小学和中学教育的文件证明。
Documentary evidence of successful completion of primary and secondary education is required for exemption on this basis.
3. 在原申请中提供无效英语语言测试结果和/或未能证明英语语言能力和/或未能提供英语语言测试结果可能会导致职评直接不通过。
Providing invalid English Language Test Results and/or failing to demonstrate English Language Competency and/or failing to present English Language Test Results in the original application may result in immediate unsuccessful outcome.
4. EA职业评估包括两大类别：认证学历评估和非认证学历评估。之前认证学历包括澳洲学历，EA和华盛顿协议（Washington Accord），悉尼协议（Sydney Accord）和都柏林协议（Dublin Accord）互认所认证的工学学历。此次EA官方指南增加了一些新的认可学历。具体详见 EA又新增认可学历，看看是否有您的学历！
5. 上诉的截止日期发生了变化。 之前是在收到非正式上诉结果的3个月内，现在是在原职评结果出来的6个月内。不过上诉还是要等review结果出来之后才能进行。
An application for an appeal may only be submitted after a Review outcome is received. This must be made within 6 months of the date of the original assessment outcome letter.
6. EA 2019.10版指南规定获得认可的澳大利亚副学士学位或高级文凭课程的毕业生，也有资格通过澳大利亚工程学学历申请途径，申请工程助理类职业的移民职业评估。
Graduates of recognised Australian Associate Degree or Advanced Diploma programs are also eligible for migration skills assessment seeking Engineering Associate category of occupations via the Australian Engineering Qualifications application pathway.
7. EA 2019.10版指南对照片提出了更具体的要求：近6个月内的彩色照片（尺寸大小3.5*4.5cm，1200 x 1600像素的分辨率，以素色为背景，正对相机，包括头部，颈部和肩膀，眼睛，鼻子和嘴巴，以JPEG格式上传）。
Recent (no more than 6 months old) colour photography (dimensions: 35mm x 45mm) of yourself in JPEG format with 1200 x 1600 pixels resolution (against a plain colour background, facing directly towards the camera, including full head, neck and shoulders, both eyes, nose and mouth)
8. EA 2019.10版指南规定学历材料除了学位证书，成绩单，或许还需要提供课程大纲。
You must provide your degree certificate, official academic transcript and/or other supporting documents (for example course syllabus).
9. 如果有过曾用名，一般需要做曾用名公证，不过之后可以用结婚证代替了。
If your current name is not the same as that on your academic documents, you must provide evidence of your name change. This may include: marriage certificate, a gazette publication, and an official letter/certificate issued by registry. A Statutory Declaration or Affidavit will not be accepted as official name change document.
10. 申请人所提供的项目报告是基于某一段工作履历的，则对应的要提供这份工作的推荐信，不过EA 2019.10版指南要求提供推荐信或工作证明，也就是说提供推荐信或者工作证明都可以。
Applicants who have based their career episode upon professional engineering experience must provide a reference letter or certificate of employment from the employer
同时，也说明了对推荐信或工作证明的要求：打印在公司信头纸上，写明职位，工作起止时间，由推荐人签字和日期。
on official company letterhead, stating your title/position, commencement and termination dates of employment, signed and dated by the author.
11. 之前EA要求项目报告不要包含过多的照片，计算，表格。
Please do not include excessive technical details (photos, calculations, tables)，
不过，EA 2019.10版指南规定项目报告中要包括可靠和足够的工程证据（图表，照片，计算，表格，等）。不要呈现过多的教科书式的材料和说明。
Please include reliable and sufficient engineering evidence (diagrams, photos, calculations, tables, etc.) to support each career episode. Do not present excessive textbook materials and instructions.
12. 你必须通过正确使用文本引用和参考书目来区分别人的作品和自己的作品。如果你在写项目报告时没有注明出处，将被视为剽窃。
You must distinguish other peoples’ work from your own by using properly in-text citations and references list. Failing to acknowledge sources you have used in writing each career episode would be considered as plagiarism.
13. 推荐信上的工作起止时间的格式用 dd/mm/yyyy。
