网页设计师规划、设计、开发和准备用于互联网发布的信息，特别强调用户界面、导航的便利性和信息的位置，使用文本、图片、动画、声音、颜色、布局和数据源来传达有特定受众和目的的信息。

A Web Designer plans, designs, develops and prepares information for Internet publication with particular emphasis on the user interface, ease of navigation and location of information using text, pictures, animation, sound, colours, layout and data sources to deliver information tailored to an intended audience and purpose.

Web Designer 232414 网页设计师职业评估要求

1. Web Designer 232414 网页设计师属于VETASSESS评估的Group B职业，要求至少有等同于澳洲本科层次学历才可以。申请人可以通过以下四类途径之一满足评估要求：

• 本科学历且是与提名职业高度相关的专业，那么需要近五年内有一年与提名职业相关的工作经验
• 本科学历但专业不是与提名职业相关的，但是有相关专业的专科学历，那么需要近五年内有两年与提名职业相关的工作经验
• 本科学历且专业不适于提名职业相关的，且没有其他相关专业的学历，那么需要近五年内有三年与提名职业相关的工作经验
• 如果申请人的相关工作经验是在获得本科学历之前的，那么可以是近五年内有一年相关工作经验的基础上，有额外五年相关的工作经验（这五年可以不是近五年内的，但是需要是近十年内的）

2. 学历要求至少有本科学位，相关专业可以包括：

• 数字设计/媒体 Digital Design/Media
• 多媒体学 Media studies
• 交互和移动媒体 Interactive and Mobile Media
• 网页设计相关专业，包括乐学习制作内容呈现通过万维网的网页浏览器或者网页软件传递给终端用户，比如网络电视客户，微博客户，RSS读者，相关学习包括了网页设计的用户体验方面，而不是软件开发，可以算相关课程 Studies in web design involve learning the skill of creating presentations of content that are delivered to an end-user through the world wide web, by way of a web browser or other web-enabled software, such as internet television clients, micro-blogging clients and RSS readers. Relevant studies cover the user experience aspects of website design, rather than software development.
• 如果是IT专业，比如计算机系统和网络，软件设计，数据和信息系统之类的，没有核心的设计相关课程，不算做相关专业 A qualification with a major in IT (e.g. Computer Systems and Networks, Software Design, Database and Information Systems), without core design subjects, will not be assessed as highly relevant.
• 核心课程包括：网页设计和交互设计 Web Design and Interactive Design，互联网/网页设计和开发 Internet/Web Page Design and Development，响应式网页应用（理解网页架构，设计和开发）Responsive Web Apps (understanding Web Infrastructure, Deisng and Development)，设计技巧和技术 Design Skills and Technologies，多媒体和可视化 Multimedia and visualisation，应用和移动设计 App and mobile design，数字环境和成品设计 Digital Environment and production design

3. 工作经验要求，学历前的工作经验可以纳入职评考虑范围内，高度相关的工作职责，包括但不限于：

• 通过与客户和利益相关者协商确定设计简报的目标和约束 Determining the objectives and constraints of the design brief by consulting with clients and stakeholders
• 研究和分析功能性传达需求 Undertaking research and analysing functional communication requirements
• 为要传达的主题制定设计概念 Formulating design concepts for the subject to be communicated
• 准备草图、图表、插图和布局以传达设计概念 Preparing sketches, diagrams, illustrations and layouts to communicate design concepts
• 与客户、管理、销售和生产人员协商设计解决方案 Negotiating design solutions with clients, management, sales and production staff
• 选择、指定或推荐用于出版、交付或展示的功能性和美学材料和媒体 Selecting, specifying or recommending functional and aesthetic materials and media for publication, delivery or display
• 详细说明和记录所选用于制作的设计 Detailing and documenting the selected design for production
• 监督或执行所选媒体的制作 Supervising or carrying out production in the chosen media
• 可存档信息以供未来客户使用 May archive information for future client use.

Web designers plan, create and code web pages, using both technical and non-technical skills to produce websites that fit the end users’ requirements. Being involved in the technical and graphical aspects of pages, web designers determine not only the look of the website, but also how it works.

Web Designers may work in many different industries where there is significant digital requirement. Some examples include:

• Tech/E-commerce business
• Web Design agencies
• Advertising agencies
• Government departments
• Sole proprietors
• Contract freelancers
• Businesses that require a dedicated in-house web designer (e.g. financial services, retail)
