The SAS consultation service can also provide additional information about how we apply criteria to the Date Deemed Skilled based on your qualifications and employment history.

The Document Checking Service provides guidance to applicants and agents in meeting the documentation requirements for formal Skills Assessment applications. Ensuring your documentation is in order when you first lodge a formal Skills Assessment means the application has a better chance at being assessed in a shorter timeframe.
We check whether you have provided a sufficient number and type of documentation in order for us to be able to effectively complete a formal skills assessment. The Document Checking Service provides step-by-step guidance over the phone followed by a written summary report.
Please note this service does not provide advice regarding the content relevance of your documents nor whether a likely outcome for a formal Skills Assessment will apply.
