Construction Estimator 312114施工估算员职业评估要求
- Construction Estimator 312114施工估算员属于VETASSESS评估的Group C职业，要求至少有等同于澳洲专科Diploma层次学历才可以。申请人可以通过以下四类途径之一满足评估要求：
- 专科学历且是与提名职业高度相关的专业，那么需要近五年内有一年与提名职业相关的工作经验
- 专业科学历但专业不是与提名职业相关的，但是有相关专业的专科以下学历（等同于澳洲Certificate IV层次），那么需要近五年内有一年与提名职业相关的工作经验
- 专科学历且专业不适于提名职业相关的，且没有其他相关专业的学历，那么需要近五年内有两年与提名职业相关的工作经验
- 如果申请人的相关工作经验是在获得专科学历之前的，那么可以是近五年内有一年相关工作经验的基础上，有额外三年相关的工作经验（这三年可以不是近五年内的，但是需要是近十年内的）
- 学历要求至少有专科学位，相关专业可以是

- 工作经验要求，学历前的工作经验可以纳入职评考虑范围内，高度相关的工作职责，包括：
- 计算开支和估算时间进度 calculating costs and estimating time scales
- 与客户、供应商、其他部门人员或施工领班协商，讨论和制定预算并解决问题；Consulting with clients, vendors, personnel in other departments or construction foremen to discuss and formulate estimates and resolve issues;
- 分析蓝图和其他文件以准备时间、成本、材料和劳动力估算；Analysing blueprints and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labour estimates;
- 准备用于选择供应商或分包商的估算；Preparing estimates for use in selecting vendors or subcontractors;
- 与工程师、建筑师、业主、承包商和分包商协商更改和调整成本估算；Conferring with engineers, architects, owners, contractors and subcontractors on changes and adjustments to cost estimates;

- 在项目期间定期准备成本和支出报表以及其他必要的文件；Preparing cost and expenditure statements and other necessary documentation at regular intervals for the duration of the project;
- 评估产品、项目或服务的成本效益，随着项目的发展跟踪与投标相关的实际成本；Assessing cost effectiveness of products, projects or services, tracking actual costs relative to bids as the project develops;
- 建立成本监控和报告系统和程序；Setting up cost monitoring and reporting systems and procedures;
- 进行专门研究以开发和建立标准工时和相关成本数据或降低成本；Conducting special studies to develop and establish standard hour and related cost data or to effect cost reduction;

- 施工估算员为成本控制提供参考，以验证项目执行过程中消耗的资源是否保持在项目可行性阶段评估的预算成本内。
- 需要注意的是，工料测量师是有另外的 ANZSCO 代码。 工料测量师角色的工作不会被认为与该职业高度相关。 典型的建筑估算师是在建筑公司的估算部门。

Construction Estimators provide a reference for cost control, to verify that the resources consumed during the execution of the project are kept within the budgeted costs assessed in feasibility phase of the project.
Please note that Quantity Surveyors are considered under another occupation in ANZSCO. Those performing the role of Quantity Surveyor would not be considered highly relevant for this occupation. A typical role for a Construction Estimator would be within the estimating department of a construction company.
