由于申请的大量积压，昆州商业移民项目已于2021年2月24日中午12点关闭,在此之前在Skillselect上提交的EOI会被筛选并考虑担保。已获邀请及正在审理的申请仍会被继续评估。另外，到4月份，BSMQ将会告知是否会重新开放商业移民项目。
Business Program
The BSMQ business program closed at 12am (midnight AEST) on 24 February 2021. EOI’s submitted on Skillselect before this time will picked-up and considered for nomination.
Applications already invited and under consideration will continue to be assessed.
BSMQ closed due to the significant backlog of applications currently in our pipeline.
BSMQ will advise in April whether we will open again for the 2020-21 program year.
Guidelines
Priority processing for:
- 188 – Innovation Stream
- 132 – Significant Business History Stream
- 188 – Significant Investor Stream
- 188 – Entrepreneur Stream
BSMQ will also prioritise businesses which create jobs, OR support COVID recovery industries, OR are located in a regional area.
2. 昆州技术移民项目，包括491和190，当前已关闭。下一次将在4月份开放。
对于2021年2月1日至7日提交的技术移民项目EOI，昆州将继续按照之前公布的标准进行评估，具体标准见：昆州开放190和491州担保申请，仅针对在昆州工作的申请人！
3. 昆州491-SBO（小生意主）类别仍是开放状态，新的申请要求将从2021年4月1日开始执行。
申请人在提交491-SBO（小生意主）EOI之前要先提交一个491-SBO评估表，这样您的EOI才会被选中。
从2021年4月1日起，购买的现有企业需要已运营两年，而不是一年。收购价最少为10万澳币(而不是企业的总投资)。此外，转租特许经营(如加油站)和家庭型企业(如快递和清洁业务)将不予考虑。
注：在2021年4月1日之前购买的企业不受这些要求的约束，但是在此日期之前必须为该企业提供有效的合同。
491- SBO (Small Business Owner) Pathway
The 491-SBO (Small Business Owners) pathway is OPEN.
IMPORTANT: Applicants need to submit a 491-SBO Assessment Form prior to submitting an Expression of Interest (EOI), so that your EOI will be picked up.
From 1 April 2021 – the pre-existing business purchased will need to have been in operation for 2 years instead of 1 year.
There will also need to be a minimum purchase price of $100,000 (rather than total investment in the business).
Furthermore, sub-leases of franchises (such as petrol stations), and home-based businesses (such as courier and cleaning businesses) will not be considered.
These requirements are aimed at ensuring the program is sustainable in the long-term.
Please note: businesses that have been purchased prior to 1 April 2021 are not subject to these requirements, however there must be a valid contract provided for the business before this date (i.e. business must have settled).
