高中教师属于 AITLS 评估，需要A类雅思 8778。大学教师属于 VET 评估，评估时不需要雅思。
2016年4月后 AITSL 教师职业评估雅思有效期从之前的一年调整为2年。

Effective 22 April 2016
AITSL will now accept suitable Academic IELTS Test Report Forms for tests undertaken during
the 24 month period prior to submitting an AITSL skills assessment application.
满足条件的澳洲，加拿大，爱尔兰，英国，美国毕业生可以豁免雅思。
An applicant has completed at least four full years of study in higher education
(university) in Australia, Canada, the Republic of Ireland, New Zealand, the United Kingdom or the United States of America.This study must have resulted in award of 2 qualification(s) comparable to the educational level of an Australian bachelor degree or higher and must include a recognised initial teacher education qualification.
