飞出国：在澳洲移民申请中，不论是职业评估阶段还是移民申请阶段，对于有些材料的处理或者申请人自身情况，都有可能会需要到法定声明Statutory Declaration。
法定声明的用途，内容和签署
法定声明从字面定义来讲，是申请人关于某一事实的书面声明，且该声明需要由合适的见证人签字，且具有一定的法律效力。
A statutory declaration is a legal document that contains a written statement about something that is true. It must be witnessed by an approved person.
通常说来，法定声明可以用于：确认个人信息（比如个人身份信息，婚姻状态，雇佣等），财务事宜，健康事宜等。用于澳洲的法定声明一般包括两种：一种用于联邦，一种用于州和领地，其中用于联邦的一般是由于联邦，ACT或者其他小领地相关事宜。
There are 2 types of statutory declarations:
- Commonwealth
- state and territory
You need a Commonwealth statutory declaration if your matter relates to:
- the Commonwealth
- the Australian Capital Territory (ACT)
- some smaller territories
法定声明的内容，首先是声明人的姓名，居住或者工作地址以及职业，然后就是所声明的事宜，一般是根据需要该文件的人或者机构的要求来写，法定声明可以打印或者手写。具体可以参考法定声明表模板。
Section 1 of a statutory declaration requires you to write your:
- name
- address
- occupation
Section 2 of a statutory declaration is where you write your statement.
You can type your statement, or use a pen. You should not use a pencil because information could be erased.
为了确保法定声明的有效期，需要有见证人签字，见证人需要确认声明人的身份，提醒声明人确保所声明事宜为真实情况，告知虚假声明的后果，确认声明的正确填写，然后声明人要在见证人的见证下完成签字。
For your statutory declaration to be valid, it must be witnessed by an approved person.
Your approved witness should:
- check your identity
- remind you that you are claiming your statement (and any attachments) is true
- tell you that there are penalties for making false statements
- check that the form is completed correctly
You must sign your statutory declaration:
- in front of the approved witness
- with a pen
You cannot use an electronic or digital signature.

澳洲移民申请中常见的法定声明

VETASSESS职业评估中自雇经历的申请人可能需要用到法定声明来阐明自己的工作职责。需要注意的是VETASSESS职业评估所用的法定声明与上述联邦法定声明模板是有所区别的。同时，用于VETASSESS职业评估的法定声明仅是声明申请人的工作职责，对于工作起止时间，职位，薪资等仍需要其他官方的工作证明材料来证明。

上面所提到的联邦法定声明在澳洲移民申请中，常见于的使用情况有以下几种，使用法定声明一方面是由于可能提供移民局所要求的材料遇到了极大的困难，所以用法定声明来替代或者辅助证明，另一方面是对已提供给移民局的材料基础上进行加强作用。
