Letter of Reference for Mr. Raynald Doerner
I have been asked to provide this letter of reference by the subject, Mr. Raynald Doerner. Our company is in the process of reengineering its operations and, much to my regret Mr. Doerner’s department and position have been eliminated as we streamline our manufacturing operations.
Raynald has been an engineering specialist at Romtech’s main processing plants since 1992. He is an expert in stress analysis and the use of analytical and design software such as ADSYS, GtStrent, STEAD, and COMSAR for industrial applications including: structural steel, foundation structures, and piping and pressure vessels. In addition to his technical expertise, Raynald has developed and implemented a number of innovative design approaches such as tension field “stressed skin” cold boxes which reduce or eliminate the need for diagonal box bracing. This design enhancement has significantly reduced the costs of our air circulation housing modules.
Raynald possesses the relatively unique ability to apply analysis to fabrication documents using AUTOCAD software. His design drawings are well drafted with many allowances for ease of construction and thus reduced costs. He consistently produces highly accurate construction documents and calculations. His attention to the smallest details is impeccable.
Overall, Raynald is a highly skilled, conscientious and capable senior engineer. Accordingly, I strongly recommend Raynald for any civil, structural, mechanical or piping engineering position where technical expertise, analytical skills, speed and accuracy are primary considerations.
