Dear XXX ,
Thank you for applying for NSW nomination for the Skilled Nominated (subclass 190) visa. We have received your application. Please read this email thoroughly for important information regarding the next steps in the nomination process.
The Skilled Reference Number (SRN) for this application is XXX. Please quote this number in all communication with NSW Migration Services.
Application fee
If you have successfully paid the application fee then you will have received a separate tax invoice for your payment. Please retain a copy of this for your records.
Please note that your application will not be considered unless the application fee is paid in full, and that this fee is not refundable under any circumstances.
What will happen next
We aim to finalise applications within 12 weeks from when the application is submitted and the application fee has been paid. If you meet all of the requirements for NSW Nomination, and have provided enough evidence to support your claims, then your application should be finalised within this timeframe.
If further information or evidence is required then we will contact you and give you an opportunity to provide this. Please note that you must meet all NSW nomination requirements both at the time that you lodge your application and at the time that we finalise your application.
If you are nominated by NSW, you will receive notification by email and an invitation to lodge your visa application through SkillSelect.
Please refrain from making general progress enquiries on the status of your application within the first 12 weeks of submitting your application. This will allow us to focus on processing applications and to finalise your application as quickly as possible.
Please note that this application is for NSW nomination only. If you are nominated by NSW, the next step is to apply for the visa with the Department of Immigration and Border Protection (DIBP) (www.immi.gov.au)
Request to expedite processing
NSW considers requests to expedite applications in very limited circumstances, for example if:
the applicant will lose points for age within the 12 week processing period; or
the applicant’s visa will expire within the 12 week processing period and the applicant is currently employed in NSW.
Thank you for your interest in migrating in NSW.
Please refer to NSW Trade & Investment website for information on the NSW 190 nomination program.
