IML职业评估的评估函的有效期是2年。如果申请人的IML评估函快要过期，可以向IML申请延期，最长可以延期12个月。延期后的评估函再过期则需要重新递交申请。如果申请人原来的IML评估函已经过期的话，只能重新递交新的申请。

Request for Extension
If the validity period of your Migration Skills Assessment is nearing its end, applicants may request a maximum 12-month extension of their outcome letter if the original result has not yet expired.
An additional fee is payable cover the costs of processing the extension request.
Please lodge your request for extension using our online form. Please note that you will be required to state a reason for requesting the extension.
If you are unable to lodge your appeal request online, please download our paper-based application form, print it, fill it in and post it to us together with all relevant supporting documents.
