Teaching Reference – Mario Suarez
Mario Suarez taught mathematics at Mountain Ridge High School during the second semester of the 2006-07 school year. He took over from another teacher and on very short notice did a credible job of teaching classes in Calculus, Computer Math, Trigonometry, and Algebra. In total, he taught these subjects to six different classes. He showed a good grasp of the material and was able to develop excellent rapport with his students. He was one of the most popular teachers.
Unfortunately, due to declining enrollment there is a surplus of tenured teachers at our school for the coming school year and we will not be able to rehire Mario. We will truly miss him.
Mario is a high energy self-starter who quickly assumes responsibility and is not afraid to face new challenges and situations. He is also very personable. Not only did he get along well with his students but also with the faculty. He was quick to fit in with an “older” staff and was readily accepted by them.
As Vice-Principal, I would very definitely rehire Mario Suarez given the opportunity. I recommend him highly for your consideration.
