Once you have been nominated to UNB by your home institution, the next step is to submit an application form. Your application package should include the following documents (incomplete application packages may result in processing delays):
- The completed application form (please complete the form using Adobe Acrobat. Please do not print and fill-in by hand. Rather save the completed form)
- the completed confirmation of English language proficiency form (if applicable)
- Your most recent official transcript
- List of courses in which you are currently enrolled (if not included on transcript)
- Copy of the ID page of your passport
- One page essay on why you would like to study at UNB
These documents must be emailed to UNB by your home university coordinator. The emails for respectively Saint John and Fredericton are listed on the application form.
Should this not be possible, please mail your application. Please make sure to include with your application a letter of permission/nomination from your home university and official transcripts, sealed in an envelope and signed on the reverse by your home institution. We cannot accept documents e-mailed directly by the student. The mailing adress is included on the application form.

To apply to the School of Graduate Studies, you must provide each of the documents below, complete an application form, and be sure to send in all of the supporting documentation required based on your situation.
You will need:
