Dependent child 定义-飞出国
Dependent child是加拿大定义的家庭成员一部分，那满足什么条件的child可以被算作dependent呢？2017年10月24日之后，dependent child需要满足以下条件
- 是申请人的亲生子女，且未被除配偶或普通法伴侣之外的他人收养；或是申请人的养子女；
- 子女年龄22岁以下，且没有配偶或普通法伴侣；或子女年龄22岁及以上，因精神或身体原因经济无法独立，在22岁生日前经济上就依赖于父母
dependent child, in respect of a parent, means a child who has one of the following relationships with the parent, namely
- Is the biological child of the parent, if the child has not been adopted by a person other than the spouse or common-law partner of the parent, or
- Is the adopted child of the parent; and
- is in one of the following situations of dependency, namely,
- is less than 22 years of age and is not a spouse or common-law partner, or is 22 years of age or older and has depended substantially on the financial support of the parent since before attaining the age of 22 years and is unable to be financially self-supporting due to a physical or mental conditions. Dependent child 类型-飞出国
那么在移民申请表中， dependen t type又如何选择呢？
- Type A：子女年龄22岁以下且无配偶或普通法伴侣。
2017年10月24日之后递交的申请人子女无特殊情况下多数适用该类型； - Type B：仅适用于在2014年8月1日前年龄锁定（locked in）的申请人子女。
对于家庭子女年龄上限先后经过几次调整， 2014年8月1日前，规定子女自22岁生日前（或自结婚或开始同居算起，如果这个时间早于22岁）就一直在全职读书，并且在经济上基本都依赖于父母也属于dependent child； - Type C：适用于定义的另一种情况，年龄22岁及以上，因身体状况，自22岁生日前经济上基本都依赖于父母，无法经济独立；
Type A
The dependant is under the age of 22 and single (not married and not in a common-law relationship).
Type B
This dependant type only applies if your child’s age was locked in before August 1, 2014.
The dependant has been continuously enrolled in, and in attendance, as a full time student at a post-secondary institution accredited by the relevant government authority and has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent either:
since before the age of 22, or
since marrying or entering into a common-law relationship (if it happened before the age of 22)
Type C
The dependant is 22 years of age or older, has depended substantially on the financial support of a parent since before the age of 22, and is unable to provide for himself or herself because of a medical condition.

从以上定义上可以看出，子女能否作为随行成员，随父母一起递交移民申请有年龄限制，在或短或长的移民周期里，移民官又以什么时间点锁定申请子女的年龄呢？这里主要列举Federal Economic Class 下几个常见的项目：
联邦技术移民，移民局收到完整永居申请材料时，年龄锁定。
省提名项目，省移民局收到完整省提名申请材料时，年龄锁定。
魁省技术移民，魁省移民局收到CSQ申请材料时，年龄锁定。
