准备萨省省提名的申请人，个别职业需要通过APEGS认证， 按照APEGS的要求，个别会员需要在当前1月1日至次年1月31日之间完成CPD（ Continuing Professional Development）在线申报，否则可能会要求提供补救措施甚至吊销执照。

六种CPD活动途径-飞出国
1. Professional Practice 专业执业活动（最多50分）
- 如从事相关领域的在职工作。
每15小时活动=1分
2. Formal Activity 正规的活动 （最多30分）
- 如本科， 研究生的正规学习， 其他大学，技术院校的课程修读；undergraduate or graduate credit and non-credit courses provided through universities,technical institutes and colleges;
- 行业组织的课程， 项目，网络研讨会， 专题讨论会等；industry sponsored courses, programs, webinars and seminars;
- 公司培训，结构化在岗培训；employer training programs and structured on-the-job training;
- 技术协会， 行业或者教育机构提供的短期课程short courses provided by technical societies, indus。
- 其他可核实的道德培训（apegs的online ethics module属于这种）；verifiable ethics training
每1小时活动=1分
提供Continuing Education Units (CEUs)的课程， 每CEU=10分
3. Informal Activity 非正规活动 （最多30分）
- 如自学（阅读技术杂志书籍，文章报告，学习新的软件技能）；self-directed study such as reading technical journals, books, manuals; learning newsoftware;
- 参加技术会议，讨论会，专题研讨会，行业展览会；attendance at conferences, technical sessions, talks, seminars, workshops and industry tradeshows;
- 参加技术会议，专业或管理协会；attendance at meetings of technical, professional or managerial associations or societies;and
- 与同事讨论技术或专业相关问题（如 关于技术论文的讨论); structured discussions (such as technical paper critiques or discussions) of technical orprofessional issues with one’s peers.

4. Participation 参与的活动（最多20分）
- 如指导其他MIT或低级的专业会员师技师；acting as a mentor to a Member-in-Training or other less experienced professional memberor technologist;
- 硕士毕业生论文导师；serving as a supervisor to a graduate student in preparation of a thesis;
- 指导本科学生工程领域相关课程；acting as a mentor to an undergraduate in an engineering or geoscience university program;
- 出席学校活动， career days科学展览会评选；presenting to schools, career days, judging science fairs;
- 服务于专业知识领域的公共机构（例如，专业协会/机构规划委员会，发展上诉委员会，调查委员会，审查小组或社区建设委员会）；serving on public bodies that draw on professional expertise (e.g. professional associations /bodies planning board, development appeal board, investigative commissions, review panelsor community building committees);
- 为技术，专业或管理协会或社团的常任或特设委员会提供服务；service on standing or ad-hoc committees of technical, professional or managerialassociations, or societies;
- 对社区有所贡献的社区服务活动，需要专业和道德的行为，但不一定要应用技术知识，包括为专业人员，服务机构，慈善机构，社区或教会/教堂组织提供的主动服务等；community service activities that contribute to the community which require professionaland ethical behaviour, but not necessarily the application of technical knowledge, includingactive service for professional, service, charitable, community or church/templeorganizations, coaching league sports teams, or elected public service on municipal,provincial or federal levels or school boards.

5. Presentations 演讲（最多20分）
presentations might occur at:
- a conference or meeting; or 在会议上的演讲
- a course, workshop or seminar either for an educational organization, within the member’scompany, or at an event sponsored by a technical or professional organization.

6. Contribution to Knowledge 对知识的贡献（最多30分）
- 对行业标准准则的发展development of published codes and standards - 1 credit per hour of committee work
- 专利patents - 15 credits per patent registered
- 发表论文 publication of papers in a peer-reviewed technical journal - 15 credits per paper published
- 发表文章publication of articles in non-reviewed journals - 10 credits per article, to a maximum of 10credits per year
- 核查发表文章reviewing articles for publication - 1 credit per hour of review, to a maximum of 10 creditsper year
- 修改发表的文章editing papers for publication - 1 credit per hour of editing, to a maximum of 10 credits peryear
所有申请人在线申报的CPD都会经过初审， 随机选择个别申请人进行复审， 复审则需要提供具体record和进一步支撑材料。
