Pathway 2 – Non-Accredited Australian Qualification with Minimum Two Years of Employment
- Completed application form
- Payment of assessment fee in Australian Dollars
- A curriculum vitae or resume
- Certified copy of all relevant formal qualifications (comparable Bachelor’s Degree or higher)
- Certified copy of transcripts relating to relevant formal qualifications
- Employment reference for each position held (on corporate letterhead) from a supervisor (quantity surveyor) to include an outline of your role and the main duties performed, specified dates of your role with the organisation and referee’s qualifications and contact details

Australian qualification
Australian applicants must hold a Bachelor’s or Post-Graduate Degree in quantity surveying or allied profession; in a course recognised by the CRICOS.
IQS 定义的工料测量相关专业（quantity surveying or allied profession）指建筑(Architecture)，筑建（Building），工程（Engineering），成本工程（Cost Engineering），经济学（Economics），土地经济（Land Economy），建筑管理（Construction Management）或类似学科。
Allied Discipline shall mean Architecture, Building, Engineering, Cost Engineering, Economics, Land Economy, Construction Management or similar discipline.
AIQS 要求 Pathway 2 申请人毕业后要有2年工料测量工作经验，通过直接主管（supervisor）的推荐信证明，supervisor 需要满足下面里面的一种情况才可以，HR或与工料测量无关主管的推荐信不认可：
- 拥有3年工料测量相关专业全日制学历，具有工料测量师资质且从事工料测量工作
- 拥有AIQS或由AIQS正式承认的其他协会会员资格的执业工料测量师
- 在居住国相关管理部门或专业机构注册的执业工料测量师；或
- 在澳洲获得与施工专业相关的3年或以上全日制学位学历的执业工料测量师
Skilled employment
Applicants must have at least two (2) years full time experience in quantity surveying since achieving their Quantity Surveying/Construction Management and Economics qualification and must be able to provide evidence of this.
Evidence of skilled employment must be demonstrated via a written reference, on corporate letterhead from the applicants’ supervisor. It must outline the role/main duties undertaken whilst under their supervision, and the dates of this work must be clearly specified.
The supervisor must include their qualifications and post-nominals beneath their signature. Contact details for the supervisor must be provided, in the event that the assessment officer requires further clarification.
An appropriate supervisor for the purposes of your application should meet one of the following criteria:
- An employer that is practicing and qualified as a Quantity Surveyor who has studied and graduated from a minimum of 3 years full time in an allied discipline;
- a practising Quantity Surveyor recognised as a corporate member of the AIQS or other body formally recognised by the Institute;
- a practising Quantity Surveyor that is registered to practice by the governing body or professional association in the country of residence; or
- a practising Quantity Surveyor that gained their construction related qualification/degree (minimum of 3 year full-time) in Australia.
