塔州2020-21财年491配额即将用完!3月19日之后只有部分情况有希望获得担保!

3月19日,塔州官网更新消息:塔州491州担保配额所剩不多(very Limited),具体情况如下:

一.塔州 2020-21 总体配额

Subclass 491– 1400 个

Subclass 190 – 1000 个

Business migration – 45

  1. 关键岗位:医疗卫生、医疗卫生相关、技术、基础设施、工程、技术。必须有与提名职业相关的职业评估skills assessment;

  2. 从事与塔州紧缺职业列表TSOL相关的职业及通过相关职业评估;

  3. 从事属于ANZSCO 1-3开头的职业并且通过相关的职业评估;或者开办小生意雇佣当地人就业;

2020–2021 Program Update

The Tasmanian Nominated Skilled Migration Program now has only very limited subclass 491 nomination places remaining.

SKILLED MIGRATION PROGRAM

Tasmania’s nomination quota for the 2020–21 program year is:
Subclass 491 – 1400 places
Subclass 190 – 1000 places
Business migration – 45 places

Approximately 60% of total skilled visa (subclass 491 and 190) nomination places have been used.

Approximately 75% of subclass 491 places have been used.

Applications for subclass 491 nomination lodged after 31 March 2021 are unlikely to be considered.

Tasmania has fewer than 400 subclass 491 nomination places remaining for the 2020–2021 program year and a high number of nomination application not yet processed.

Migration Tasmania will consider and decide all applications for subclass 491 nomination lodged before 20 March 2021. All efforts will be made to consider all applications lodged between 20 March 2021 and 31 March 2021, depending upon the volume of applications received during that period.

Applications for subclass 491 nominations lodged after 31 March are highly unlikely to be successfully nominated unless they are in the top 3 priority categories (See Nomination Priorities below)

The highest priority applicants (Priority 1-3) will continue to be nominated until the end of the program year.

Visa expiry alone cannot be considered for prioritised assessment – applicants should investigate alternative visa options while await their application outcome.

Other subclass 491 nomination applications lodged before 31 March 2021 will be processed on an ongoing basis and if eligible will be ranked and nominated at a later date if there is sufficient quota available . Applications that do not meet eligibility or are sufficiently competitive will be declined.

Subclass 491 nomination applications lodged after 19 March 2021 that are not processed will be closed at the end of the program year and the service fee refunded.

Subclass 190 applications are not affected by this process and are being considered as normal.

Please note, applications for both subclass 491 and 190 nomination will close on 11 June 2021 at 5:00pm (AEST).

The program will then reopen in July 2021 subject to receipt of the new nomination quota from Department of Home Affairs.

Nomination Priorities

  1. Critical employment - health, allied health, technology, infrastructure, engineering, technology. Must have relevant skills assessment.
  2. TSOL related employment and skills assessment.
  3. Other skilled employment (ANZSCO 1-3) with related skills assessment/business owners employing locals.
  4. All other eligible candidates, depending upon likely contribution to economy.

What does this mean for applicants?

Applications will be considered according to these priorities, with those in critical roles being nominated first.

Existing applicants who are not in critical roles will be considered only after priority applications for critical roles have been processed.

In practice, applicants in Priorities 1-3 will be approved and nominated on an ongoing basis.

Periodically, other eligible applicants will be nominated if there are sufficient quota places are available.

Given the limited number of places remaining, Priority 4 applicants may not receive an outcome for some weeks after their application is considered.
