飞出国：2017年10月底，魁北克2018年移民配额计划发布，飞出国对比2017年魁北克移民配额做简单比较分析，大致看来2018年配额呈缩减态，但整体配额依然较普通加拿大省提名多很多，还是一个比较稳妥的项目。周期上，魁北克2015年那一批已经收到取签信，也就是后续在线申请大致周期在2-3年。
技术移民和商业移民 CSQ 配额都比2017年有缩减。
另外亚洲区配额比2017年也大幅缩减，2017年亚洲区魁北克技术移民 CSQ 配额是9500-10200，2018年是7500-8400。
魁北克移民签证配额2018年与2017年保持稳定。
亚洲2017年获得魁北克技术移民签证的人数在5190-5630，2018年这一数字将提高到 7450-8100，对前几年递交魁北克技术移民的亚洲申请人是好消息。

配额分CSQ配额和签证配额，魁北克开放配额的时间点是每年4月1日到次年3月31日。
魁省暂停叙利亚难民担保计划
因申请人多，配额少，魁北克移民部宣布暂停接收新难民类担保申请直到到2018年6月（Collective sponsorship）。魁北克省政府拟定的2017年移民计划，魁省今年将通过难民担保计划接收 4050 至 4400 名难民。
No new sponsorship applications before June 30, 2018
Due to the high number of undertaking applications received and still being processed, the Ministère has decided to extend the suspension in the intake of new sponsorship applications until June 30, 2018.
This suspension affects refugees of all origins and pertains to all new applications, whether they are presented by organizations or groups of 2 to 5 people, or involve joint sponsorship.
While respecting the yearly targets for admission, the arrival of people whose files are still being processed will likely extend up until 2020.
Currently, the files of some 13 800 sponsored refugees are still being processed.
The 2018 immigration plan, tabled in the National Assembly in October 2017, sets the admission of sponsored refugees at between 4050 and 4400. Given these inventories, the arrival of some 13 800 people whose files are still being processed will likely extend up until 2020.
