The IT sector is growing quickly in Saskatchewan and over the next five years the Information and Communications Technology Council (ICTC) forecasts that there will be nearly 4,000 IT related jobs in the province. We have launched a new Tech Careers web page where you can find a listing of IT sector jobs available in Saskatchewan, with companies that work on cutting edge technology! Also on this page, you will find information about what it’s like to live in Saskatchewan - for more information, visit Technology Careers « Think Saskatchewan. We anticipate many more jobs will be posted on this website in the coming months, so please continue to check back.
When you find a job that matches your skills and abilities, you can apply online through www.saskjobs.ca by submitting your resume directly to the employer listed on the job order.
If you apply and successfully receive a job offer, you may be able to relocate to Saskatchewan and start your career prior to receiving permanent residency. To do so, you must first:
- receive a job offer of permanent, full-time skilled employment from a Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) approved employer; and,
- receive a valid SINP Job Approval Letter from your future employer.
With these two documents, you can then request a revision to your nomination to include your job offer by filling out and submitting the Revision form found here: http://publications.gov.sk.ca/redirect.cfm?p=81896&i=93921. Once accepted, the SINP will provide a Work Permit Support Letter which you can use to apply for a temporary work permit to allow you to live and work in Saskatchewan while you wait for permanent residency.
