请问在境内申请的一般会转到香港还是北京处理？
联邦阶段，EE 下的一般半年左右，非 EE 下的可能要一年多一点。
背景调查会上门吗？
调查同性关系可能上门调查，其他很少上门的，使馆没那么多精力。
是说在境内居住一年以上的，就在渥太华处理了吗？不用转去香港或北京处理了？
非EE下有这种说法：
For all other applications you must select the visa office that serves your country of nationality or the country where you have been legally admitted for at least one year.
In your application, you must select the visa office where your application will be processed.

EE 下一般不显示具体处理使馆，如果有背调，面试这些还是由申请人的国籍及当前居住身份决定，加拿大境内的是渥太华，中国，港澳的是香港。
