7月19日，新西兰工作和收入局发布消息，将对受到洪水和风暴影响的Upper South Island以及惠灵顿地区提供支持和帮助。
针对布勒区（Buller District）的 民防补贴
在布勒区，受洪水影响的人士可以申请获得民防补贴。申请人当前无需正在享受另一项福利，并且多数情况下，补贴多少与申请人的收入或资产无关。民防补贴可以用于帮助支付以下费用：

住宿费用：适用于申请人当前被疏散并居住在汽车旅馆、酒店或临时租住地的等场所；

收入损失：由于洪水无法工作导致；
-
紧急食物、衣服和床上用品：适用于申请人的食物、衣服和床上用品被洪水损坏或毁坏；
-
其他补贴；如果申请人在私人住宅、会堂或社区中心等地方与其他撤离人员住在一起。
申请方式：打电话（ 0800 559 009）给工作收入局。时间：周一至周五（7am to 6pm）；周六（8am-1pm）。
此外，新西兰政府已通过Enhanced Task Force Green提供高达 500,000 美元的资金，以帮助清理Upper South Island上的洪水。农民和种植者可以通过 ArcGIS Survey123 自行注册以获得清理帮助。其他在财产方面需要帮助的人可以通过Civil Defence进行申请，并可以在这里找到他们当地的联系人。

Support and assistance may be available if you’ve been affected by the flooding and storm.
There are lots of ways we can help, and we can point you in the right direction based on your situation. You don’t have to be on a benefit, help is also available to people on a low income. You may have to pay the money back depending on your situation.

Civil Defence Payments – Buller District
Civil Defence payments are available for people who have been affected by the flooding in the Buller District. You don’t have to be on a benefit to qualify for a Civil Defence Payment. In most cases it doesn’t matter what your income is or what assets you have. These payments are available for a limited time.
A Civil Defence Payment can help with:
- accommodation costs if you’re evacuated and are staying in accommodation such as motels, hotels or temporary rental accommodation
- loss of income because you can’t work due to the flooding
- emergency food, clothing and bedding if yours has been damaged or destroyed by the flooding
- payment if you have evacuees staying with you in places such as a private home, marae or community centres.
Call us on 0800 559 009 to apply for Civil Defence payments. This line is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm and Saturday, 8am-1pm.

Enhanced Task Force Green
The Government has made up to $500,000 available through Enhanced Task Force Green to help with the Upper South Island floods clean-up.
Farmers and growers can self-register for clean-up help through ArcGIS Survey123
Other people needing help on their properties will be able to apply through Civil Defence and can find their local contact here.
Job seekers who want to help with the clean-up can contact their local Work and Income office.
Local people will be used wherever possible due to pressure on accommodation, particularly on the West Coast.
