飞出国：2021年10月31日 新西兰WTR(Work to Residence)类别下的优才（认可的雇主）工签【Talent (Accredited Employer) Work Visa】 和 长期紧缺职业工签 【Long Term Skill Shortage List Work Visa】 停止接收新申请。优才工签和长期紧缺职业工签将由认可的雇主工签【Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV)】代替。AEWV 是一种全新的临时工作签证，将于2022年7月4日正式引入。
如果您已经持有优才工签或长期紧缺职业工签的任意一种，您仍然可以继续进行通过工签转居留的途径。
如您已持有WTR（工签），并已递交了RFW（居留签证）申请，有可能在移民局处理您的RFW申请之前，WTR过期了，这种情况，2021年10月31日之后可以重新申请WTR工签
如您2021年10月31日之前已递交了WTR申请，移民局会继续处理您的申请，申请获批后您可以申请RFW。
如果您申请的是优才（认可的雇主）工签，即便雇主的认证在移民局处理到您的申请之前过期了，移民局也会继续审理您的申请。
此外，符合以下条件的申请人，WTR签证过期后也可以在2021年10月31日之后重新申请WTR工签：
- 目前持有这两类签证（优才工签/长期紧缺职业工签）中的一类；
- 2020年3月19日新西兰关闭国门时，身处新西兰境外；
- 截至2021年10月31日仍未返回新西兰，并且；
- 在离开新西兰之前，已经开始从事签证上所列的工作。
您的工作机会可以来自任何经过认证的雇主、支持您最初工作到居留签证申请的雇主，或认证在 2021 年 3 月 31 日后到期的雇主。
对于符合条件的申请人，在申请WTR工签后（可在10月31日之后申请），须在新西兰工作2年，接下去便可继续申请RFW居留签证。居留签证要求的在新西兰的2年工作时间随着新的申请重新计算。
Applying for a WTR visa after 31 October 2021
If you have a work to residence (WTR) visa and have applied for a residence from work (RFW) visa you may find your WTR visa will expire before we have processed your RFW application.
You will be able to apply for a WTR visa after 31 October 2021 if you meet the visa requirements.
If you applied on or before 31 October 2021
We will process your application.
If your application is approved you can continue on your pathway to residence and apply for a RFW visa in the future.
If you applied for a Talent (Accredited Employer) Work Visa and your employer’s accreditation expired before we processed your application, we will still process your application.
Talent (Accredited Employer) visa holders may move to a previously-accredited employer
If you have a Talent (Accredited Employer) Work Visa you can now move to an employer who was accredited under the Talent (Accredited Employer) scheme, if the employer’s accreditation expired after 31 March 2021. This gives you the flexibility to choose from a bigger pool of employers who have previously met accreditation requirements, as well as those with accreditation.
You must apply to vary the conditions of your visa if you want to change employers.
Residence pathways for WTR visa holders unable to return to New Zealand
Some Talent (Accredited Employer) and Long Term Skill Shortage List Work Visa holders who started a role in New Zealand were outside of New Zealand in March 2020, and were unable to return to New Zealand due to the COVID-19 border closures.
If this is your situation, you may be able to apply for a WTR visa after 31 October 2021, complete the required 2 years of employment in New Zealand, and work through to residence. The 2 year period begins at the start of the new employment period.

Hiring temporary workers after 31 October 2021
Employers can continue to support temporary migrant workers on an Essential Skills Work Visa up to 3 July 2022 without accreditation.
From 4 July 2022, employers can support temporary migrant workers on an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV).
