Email scanned clear colour copies of the application record and all other required documents to chinesequal@vetassess.com.au. Please note:
The scanned clear colour copies must be in A4 sized portions without size reduction (except photos) and must be legible when printed on A4 sized paper. Badly scanned, illegible documents will require resubmission by the applicant. This will cause considerable delays in processing the verification application.
Documents must be colour scanned from the original document. Identification documents (e.g. passport bio-page) are required to be colour scanned from the properly certified copies.
Scanned documents must be in the following formats: JPG, JPEG, BMP, GIF, and PNG with the file size of 2MB or less. (Note: PDF files or zip files CANNOT be accepted)
Alternatively, send the original signed ‘Application Record’ and all other required documents to VETASSESS by post or courier.

Chinese Personal Identification Card: A photocopy of your Chinese Personal Identification Card (居民身份证). No English translation is required.

Documents to be verified: For applicants who require Chinese Qualifications Verification for VETASSESS skills assessment purposes: if you hold a Bachelor Degree level qualification or above, you will need to have the following three documents verified

Academic Transcript or Examination Results (in Chinese and English Translation)
(Note: Applicants who hold a qualification that is lower than a Bachelor degree level, only Certificate of Graduation and Academic Transcript are required to be verified)
Applicants who require the verification for an organisation other than VETASSESS: you should first consult the relevant organisation about their requirements.
Documents required:
- Degree Certificate: a photocopy from the original certificate and its official English translation
- Certificate of Graduation:a photocopy from the original certificate and its official English translation
- Academic Transcript: or Examination Record in Chinese: the official documents must be issued and endorsed by the central student administration office or archiving office of the awarding body or the attending institution. (For Self-Taught programmes, it must be officially issued and endorsed by the relevant Self-Taught Examinations Committee.)
- Academic Transcript: or Examination Record in English:the English translation must be issued and endorsed by the central student administration office or archiving office of the awarding body or the attending institution. Alternatively, translations prepared by the registered translation service or translations included in the Notarial Certificates can be accepted.
Note: Please ensure complete documentation is submitted. Any unofficially issued documents or Graduate Registration Record may be not acceptable and/or be verified as ‘non-genuine’. Ensure the information, e.g. subject name, scores and credits, in the English version matches the Chinese original language as both versions will be verified. Inconsistent information in both versions may cause considerable delay or lead to a negative verification result.
Applicants who were awarded qualifications during their service in the army by army institutions are required to provide additional documents for verification. Please contact us for further information.

Supporting evidence for your claim of the GST exemption (if applicable).: If you are not in Australia at the time of lodging the application you may be exempt from paying the GST component.
You need to provide evidence for this exemption if one of your addresses in your application is an Australian address.

Please note:
MOST Chinese Qualification Verification applications are completed within 6-8 weeks, but a small number of cases may take longer (e.g. awards received before 1995), for various reasons. Please allow 6 weeks before making any status enquiries. Failure to submit the required documentation will cause considerable delay in your Chinese Qualification Verification. Your Chinese Qualification Verification cannot be processed without the complete documentation received. VETASSESS can only proceed with the Skills Assessment after your Chinese Qualifications are verified.
If there are any changes to your contact details (name, address or telephone number), please inform VETASSESS immediately. This will prevent communication delays.
