887 Visa - Eligibility criteria for family members
Family members can be included in your application if they currently hold a skilled visa or are on a Bridging visa A or Bridging visa B having applied for a skilled visa.
Family members must be included in your application when it is lodged; they cannot be added after lodgement.
There is a fee for additional family members applying for this visa with you.
Family members applying for this visa with you must meet our health and character requirements.
Usually, family members not applying for the visa must also meet our health and character requirements.
If a family member included in your application has less than functional English, you might have to pay an additional fee, called the second instalment fee.
Newborn children
If your child is born after you lodge your application but before the visa is decided, you must tell as as soon as possible.
