海外留学生申请步骤 Application Process for International Applicant

要通过学校录取，申请人必须要向Office of Admission提交以下所有的资料：

  1. 申请表
  2. 申请费：200加币
  3. 身份证明（通过传真或邮件发送护照的复印件）
  4. 直接由申请人就读的高中或大学把官方成绩单寄送给伯尔曼大学。
  5. 如果Office of Admission要求的话，要对成绩单进行IQAS评估。
  6. 如果申请人的母语不是英语的话，或未在授课语言为英语的高中或大学至少读满一年，则需要提交英语水平证明。可以提交可接受的成绩来证明申请人的英语水平，例如托福，CAEL，雅思，或MELAB考试成绩等。

To be considered for admission, you must submit all of the following items to the Office of Admission:

  1. Application Form
  2. $200 Application Fee
  3. Proof of Citizenship (fax or e-mail a photocopy of your passport).
  4. Official Academic Transcript(s) to be sent in directly to Burman University by high schools and any colleges or universities you have attended. (PLEASE NOTE: faxed transcripts are NOT considered official. Transcripts received by fax or e-mail are accepted to meet the 01 April 2014 Early Admission Scholarship deadline and may be used to issue and Initial Offer of Admission; however, final official transcripts must be received by the Office of Admission, before you will be permitted to register for any classes at Burman University.)
  5. IQAS Application to have your transcripts evaluated if an IQAS Evaluation is requested by the Office of Admission (see detailed information below).
  6. Proof of English Proficiency if English is not your first language and you have not completed at least one full year of study at the high school level or higher in a school where English was the primary language of instruction. You may submit acceptable scores from the TOEFL, CAEL, IELTS, or MELAB exams to provide proof of English proficiency.

Minimum required scores for English Proficiency Exams

  • International English Language Testing System (IELTS) - 6.5
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - 83 (internet based) or 560 (paper based)
  • Canadian Academic English Assessment (CAEL) - 70
  • Michigan English Language ASsessment Battery (MELAB) - 85
