飞出国：自2016年4月9日开始，加拿大大部分纸质签证申请都可以链接到 GCKey 账号用于查询状态，根据以往客户链接的情况看，这个状态显示会超前一些，比传统的查询状态超前，常见的纸质申请除了临时签证，移民签证里非EE省提名联邦阶段，魁省技术联邦阶段，魁省投资都可以进行 Link 。
联邦阶段的纸质申请 CIO 签收后，把申请材料扫描到数据库（估计至少两周才能扫描进去），这样才可以链接，步骤如下：
- 注册 GCKey 账号： http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/account.asp
- 点击 “Link application to this account” 选择申请类别，然后填写姓名，生日，出生地，护照号，定居省份和城市以及申请人数（和IMM008-2D表格填写的信息保持一致）。
Link 成功后可以在线查询状态，和EE系统显示的状态一样，以后所有信件都是在系统里面下载，如：UCI号，体检信，取签信，这些信件不在发送email给申请人，但是 email 会收到 IRCC 系统通知：
Your application has been updated. Please sign in to your accountand check your application status and messages for more information.
登陆在线系统查看具体状态即可。飞出国会帮助申请人完成在线关联并辅助律师关注申请人的进度状态。同时根据同期其他申请人状态可以大致判断当前状态是否正常。
After you link your application, all messages about your application will be sent to you through your account. You will no longer receive paper letters about your application.
飞出国经验： 纸质递交联邦的客户，与 MyCIC Amount 进行 Link 的时候，如果一直 Link 不成功，可以尝试将出生地写成和护照一致（其他信息和2D表格一致）。

For some paper applications, you can get detailed application status and your mail online. You can do this by linking an application to an online account. Through your account, you will be able to see the most up-to-date information about your application.

- Caregivers (Caring for people with high medical needs pathway, Caring for children pathway)
- In-Canada Live-In Caregiver
- In-Canada Protected Persons and Convention Refugees

What you will need to link your application - flyabroad
To link your application to your account, we will ask you specific information about your application. Have a copy of your application on hand. After you create an account and sign in, select “Link an application to this account” to get started.
When your application is linked to your account, you will no longer receive messages by mail. We will contact you through your account.
Create an account or sign in - flyabroad
You can either create an account using your online banking login (Sign-In Partner) or a Government of Canada login (GCKey).
If you don’t have an account, start by deciding which electronic credential you will use.
Sign in to your account using:
- Sign in Partner (SecureKey Concierge), which uses your online banking information or
- GCKey, the Government of Canada credential.
