All applications for Candidate membership are be directed to the Professional Standards Board. http://www.psb-planningcanada.ca/APPLY/index.php (Separate Assessment fees are paid directly to Professional Standards Board)

Submit your assessment for Candidate membership directly to the PSB. If you have an accredited degree and when your assessment is complete, the PSB will forward it to the APPI office. The application for Candidate membership will then be vetted through the APPI Registration Committee.

Candidate Members of APPI Accepted on or before August 31, 2012 – Existing Candidate members of APPI who were accepted on or before August 31, 2012 will proceed through to Registered Professional Planner (RPP) Member status via the process that was in place when their application for Candidate membership was originally accepted. There is a seven year limit that a member can maintain the Candidate/Provisional category. Candidate members are required to complete the RPP certification process prior to the seven year expiry of their Candidate membership.
2012年8月31号及之前接受的APPI候选会员-2012年8月31号及之前接受的APPI候选会员通过之前接受的候选会员资格申请继续通过RPP会员状态。候选临时会员类别期限为7年，候选会员资格到期之前，必须完成RPP认证流程。
This means logging the appropriate amount of experience by submitting the traditional logbook for validation by the APPI Registration Committee, successfully completing the written examination (for those who do not hold a recognized planning degree) and successfully sitting the oral examination.
