昆州对境外工程师职业申请人（无论是本科，硕士还是博士）的要求是已经获得昆州工程师协会（BPEQ）的注册：
Engineers - Applicants must have registration with the Board of Professional Engineer Queensland (BPEQ) unless already working under the supervision of a BPEQ registered engineer.
对昆州院校毕业的硕士生要求的是在昆州完成硕士学位，毕业没有超过2年，且已经获得了专业相关的最少一年的昆州雇主offer。
- have completed 100 per cent of a Masters Degree or qualification higher than a Masters Degree at a Queensland institution in Queensland and have graduated within the last 2 years. Your application should include a copy of your Letter from the institution or a copy of awarded qualification from the institution.
- Masters students must have an offer of employment in your skilled occupation(or closely related) and evidence of acceptance. The employment opportunity must be for at least 12 months.

OCCUPATION CEILINGS
- Occupations on the QSOL may be subjected to a cap. This means a maximum number of nominations that will be accepted by BSMQ for each occupation within a given period.
- When ceilings are met, the occupation will be closed and further applications will not be accepted. It is at BSMQ’s discretion when occupations will be opened or closed.
- The status of occupations will be regularly updated to indicate whether applications are being accepted.
- Applicants are encouraged to review the BSMQ website and social media regularly to check the statusof their occupation. BSMQ will not contact you if your occupation is closed or opened at a later date.
